Ontario Welcomes its first Professional Baseball Team

A new era is on the horizon as Ontario welcomes its first ever professional baseball team! Join us as we embark on this new chapter in Ontario’s sports history and bring the best-in-class family entertainment and sports experience to our community.

The official groundbreaking for the Ontario Sports Empire took place on October 28, 2024. Set to open in fall 2026, the 190-acre complex will include 20 multipurpose fields, 14 youth baseball/softball fields, eight full-size baseball/softball fields, 4 football/rugby fields, and 2 championship baseball fields. The Ontario Sports Empire will be the largest multi-use sports and entertainment complex of its kind west of the Rocky Mountains.

A professional stadium, as part of the Ontario Sports Empire, will be the new home for Ontario's professional baseball team - the single A Dodgers-affiliated team. The stadium will open April 2026.
