Police officers from the cities of Ontario and El Monte, a team of U.S. military Veterans, and a team consisting of workers from Karman Space & Defense, will be donning baseball jerseys for the 2nd Annual Seeds of Hope for Veterans’ fundraiser event.

The event is open to the public with admission tickets available for $5. All proceeds will go to the Plaza Mac Ortiz Veterans Home in the San Gabriel Valley and the March (Air Reserve Base) Veterans Village in the Inland Empire. Gates open at 8AM.

The first series of elimination softball games will begin at 9:30AM. The second series of games—determining the overall winner and final standings—kicks off at 11:15. The day’s events are scheduled to conclude at 2 PM following the awarding of the game trophies.
